The challenge
What needed to work
Professional-development delivery involves more than a marketing page: paid bookings, attendance, facilitator permissions, certificates, email communication, and public verification must stay consistent.

The approach
How I approached it
I implemented a full lifecycle from session discovery through Stripe Checkout, webhook-confirmed payment, role-aware attendance, PDF certificate issuance, private storage, and safe public verification.

Key decisions
Allowed only Stripe webhooks—not success redirects—to confirm paid bookings.
Separated admin and facilitator permissions and rejected insufficient access server-side.
Stored certificate files privately while exposing only safe verification data publicly.
Attached QR verification codes to generated PDF certificates.
04 — Outcome
The deployed platform supports session commerce, customer accounts, booking communication, attendance, certificate generation, and verification as one connected operational product.
