The short version
This portfolio collects only the information needed to operate its contact form, understand basic product usage, and keep CRAX-E useful. It does not use advertising trackers or sell personal information.
CRAX-E answers from a local portfolio knowledge bundle. Ask-mode questions are not sent to an external AI model provider.
CRAX-E conversations
CRAX-E processes portfolio questions in your browser. Its bounded conversation history and feedback state are stored in session storage so a conversation can continue while that browser tab session remains open. Closing the session or clearing site data removes that browser-held history.
Operational analytics may record the selected mode, detected language, answer intent, confidence level, and whether an answer was marked useful. Raw question and answer text are not included in those analytics events.
Site analytics and abuse prevention
The production site uses Vercel Analytics to measure aggregate visits and product interactions. Vercel processes the technical request information needed to provide that service under its own privacy terms.
The contact endpoint uses Vercel BotID and server-side validation to reduce automated abuse. These checks may process request and device signals needed to decide whether a submission is legitimate. Short-lived rate-limit counters in Redis use keyed hashes of IP addresses, expire after ten minutes, and contain no enquiry text. Delivery logs contain provider message identifiers and outcomes, not enquiry contents.
Contact enquiries
If you submit the enquiry form, the name, email address, and message you provide are validated by the site’s Vercel function and sent server-side through Resend for delivery to Fatik’s inbox. That information is used only to read, respond to, and manage the enquiry.
The WhatsApp contact button opens WhatsApp with a generic prefilled project-enquiry message. The portfolio does not submit a chat message on your behalf; anything you choose to provide or send there is governed by WhatsApp and Meta’s own privacy practices.
Messages may remain in the receiving email account for as long as reasonably needed for the conversation, project records, or legal obligations. Do not include passwords, payment details, health information, or other sensitive data in the form.
Voice features
CRAX-E can request microphone permission for the “Hey CRAX-E” wake phrase while the page is open. Listening begins only after you grant browser permission; the page shows a microphone status and you can disable it or say “stop listening”. The browser speech-recognition option may process audio through the browser vendor. If that service fails, the browser may download about 70 MB of speech-model files from Hugging Face and transcribe audio on your device. This site does not separately upload or retain microphone audio. Speech before the wake phrase is not added to the chat.
Browser storage and caching
The site uses session storage for CRAX-E conversation state, contact drafts, and your spatial-view motion preference for the current tab session. A service worker may cache public pages, scripts, fonts, and images on your device to improve reliability and offline behavior. The site does not set advertising cookies.
You can remove browser-held data at any time by clearing this site’s storage in your browser settings. External links are governed by the privacy practices of their destination sites.
Your choices
You can use the portfolio without opening CRAX-E, granting microphone permission, or sending the contact form. You may also ask for an enquiry you previously sent to be corrected or deleted, subject to any record-keeping obligations.
For a privacy question or request, use the portfolio contact form and mention “Privacy request” in the message.
